Tuoren Medical has taken the lead in exploring innovative models for medical device products in the medical field. Since 2008, it has established an industry-university-research innovation support fund, investing nearly 10 million RMB annually to promote integrated innovation and development in the medical sector, and to reward clinical innovations by healthcare professionals. In 2011, the “Tuoren Medical Device Science and Technology Innovation Award” (MOST Social Force Award No. 0217) was established, becoming the first ministerial-level medical device innovation award initiated by social forces in China. Over the past 17 years, tuoren medical has assisted in filing more than 4,000 patent applications, facilitated the transformation of over 500 achievements, and generated nearly 3.6 billion RMB in transformation benefits.
